A successful classroom requires a strong curriculum—aligned to the Common Core— that challenges students, scaffolds their experience, and is enlivened by teachers who are engaged with their craft. The curriculum must meet students where they are and customize inclusive, motivating instruction. Rigorous instruction aligns practice and content to Common Core strategies within and across grades.
