2-217 Gardening Advice Videos

Second Grade PBL: Students researched ways to keep a healthy garden. They learned to show what they know about the plant lifecycle and gardening by putting it together in an animated video using FRAMES software.

Digital Stories by Grade 2

Students learned to create programs that tell digital stories.  Students used coding skills acquired during their computer science unit to create characters, settings, dialogue, movement and sound. We hope you enjoy their stories as much as they enjoyed creating them.

Kindergarten: Community Helpers

Kindergarten engaged in a technology-class PBL to learn about communities, places in communities and the helpers that work in communities. As their final product, they created a video about community helpers. Each student chose a community helper, created an illustration and stated their important idea about the community helper.

Third Grade Artist Programs

Class 2/3-240 Ozobot Nutcracker

Students designed costumes and programmed the ozobots to dance to the nutcracker.

Fifth Grade Google Doodles

During CS Ed Week 2017, Fifth graders were introduced to scratch. In just 5 short lessons, they learned basic programming in Scratch to remix a Google Doodle and make it their own. Each student chose a theme and crafted their own program to make their google doodle unique.  We hope you enjoy their programs.
