The Discovery School for Inquiry and Research strives to inspire internationally-minded students who are confident, passionate learners with the courage to stand for justice, respecting themselves and others with diverse perspectives. Through guided inqury and active research, students creatively communicate ideas and reflect upon their learning experiences. It is our goal to prepare our students for success in the 21st century by developing responsible citizens, courteous, and self-disciplined members of our local community.

School for Inquiry and Research envisions an internationally-minded, learning
community where students are inspired to be confident, passionate learners with
the courage and skills to lead lives of integrity, while contributing to our
global community with creativity and compassion. Our educational process
will be designed to address the whole child with individual differences while
focusing on the belief that all students are capable learners. Not only
will students be prepared academically; they will be nurtured with a sense of
cultural awareness which includes an appreciation of the arts, of tolerance, of
equity, of diversity, and respect for all. Faculty, staff parents and community
will develop, through collaboration, a sense of ownership, spirit, and pride in
our school.
